Delete Your Account

You have the right to delete your NeuroRecall account at any time. This page explains exactly what gets deleted, how to do it from within the app, and how to contact us if you need help.

⚠ This action is permanent

Deleting your account removes all your data — game scores, streaks, achievements, Brain Score, and leaderboard entries — permanently. This cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently erased within 30 days:

👤Profile & display name
📧Email address
🏆All game scores
⭐Stars & XP earned
🔥Streak history
🎖️Achievements
📊Brain Score data
📅Daily challenge records
🏅Leaderboard entries
🔔Notification prefs

Not deleted immediately: Anonymised, aggregated analytic events (no personally-identifiable information) may remain in Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months. Crashlytics crash reports are similarly anonymised and retained per Google policy.

How to Delete Your Account (In-App)

Deleting your account takes less than a minute from within the app:

Open the app and go to your Profile
Tap the profile avatar in the top-right corner of the Home screen to open your Profile page.

Open Settings
On your Profile page, tap the Settings icon (⚙) in the upper-right corner to open the Settings screen.

Scroll down to "Account"
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen to find the Account section. Tap "Delete Account".

Confirm deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear summarising what will be deleted. Tap "Delete Permanently" to proceed. You will be signed out immediately and your data queued for erasure.

After Deletion

If you are unable to access the app, or the in-app deletion is not working, you can request account deletion by email. Please include the email address associated with your Google account and we will complete the deletion within 5 business days.
